Yes, I know, it has been quite awhile since I have posted a song. Certainly more than a week. I promise to make it up to you though. This week will contain the most songs ever!
So right before I left for DC I found my old hammered dulcimer in the basement and, after remembering what an amazing instrument it is, decided to record this riff that I could expand on later. I decided to use words from a breathing meditation that I read in a book by Thich Nhat Hanh, a Zen Buddhist monk. The whole meditation goes like this:
Breathing in, I calm my body.
Breathing out, I smile.
Dwelling in the present moment,
I know this is a wonderful moment!
